We're All Different

The sooner that you accept that you're different from everyone... it will make life easier.  Do not expect someone to treat you the same way. When it comes to kindness, offering assistance, and so on. That does NOT mean to change who you are as a person. Remain true to yourself and everything will workout itself out. The first step is accepting that you won't always receive the same treatment, even if you went above and beyond for that individual. You either are doing it from the kindness of your heart, for acceptance, or you feel as if you have to.  Think about that! Have a great day!

Better Days To Come :)

*I have noticed that I make my blogs a little long, so I will shorten them!* Yesterday was honestly a good day for my mental toughness. I pushed through my school work and managed to study enough to receive a good grade. Then I had a tough track workout and I got myself through that as well. Earlier in the week, my mindset was shot (no good) but as the week progressed it has improved. I am excited to see how much more I will grow when it comes to my mental toughness. Better days are sure to come... as long as I put the work in. 💁

Getting Out of My Comfort Zone!

Yinz would not believe what I did yesterday! 😮 Every Wednesday I participate in a program called Kids in Action. The program is a part of my Lifespan class, which makes it a requirement to attend for points. Anyway, we are separated into sections! For 10 weeks we will split gym time and pool time in half. Yesterday made week 6, so you know what that means? Yup time for a switch! Can you guess where I was going to be located? 😬💭 If you guessed "pool" you are correct! lol My kiddo is basically a fish! She can swim like no other and I am the complete opposite. There were different activites going on within the pool and the kiddos were able to choose how deep in the pool they wanted to participate. Now from how this story is going you already know how deep my kiddo wanted to go! 😅 (yes, the deep deep end)  It took everything in me to get myself down to that end but I did it. I really pushed myself out of my comfort zone and yes it was pretty scary. Moral of the story is to j...

My name is Rayna Stevenson and I am a senior at SRU.  Yes, I am an "old head' at this school lol! My current major is PAFM but I have been involved in 3 different paths as well. Starting from Exercise Science to Early Childhood Education, and leading into School Wellness Education. I have been on quite an adventure but I am getting to the end now. You're probably wondering, how do you even get to graduate in Spring? Let's just say I was very blessed and took a lot of classes lol. On top of that, I am also an athlete too. I run track at SRU and participate in sprinting events.  That is my small introduction into my life and there will definitely be more information spilled :) I will be using this blog to also speak on health and wellness. It is soo important to take care of yourself when it comes to your mental and physical state. I will do the best I can to help you on your journey to support your mind and body! :)  This is me... well technically it's me @19. I am ...
